The Theater and Hotel at Broadway

For over ten years, Teatro ZinZanni delighted audiences in nightly dinner theater performances. But in 2011, the theater's historic spiegeltent was put in storage to make way for the America's Cup events in the city. After years of planning and public review, the theater is poised to relaunch in collaboration with Kenwood Investments with the construction of a combination theater and hotel, across from Pier 9 on the Embarcadero. Hornberger + Worstell has designed a modern brick building with a bar and restaurant enlivening the sidewalk scene, and guestrooms above with views out to the bay and surrounding hills. At the north end, the Teatro ZinZanni spiegeltent will be displayed in a cylindrical glass pavilion, adding a new signature feature to the city's famous waterfront.
