Presidio Theatre

Built prior to World War II on what was then the US Army base at the Presidio in San Francisco, the Presidio Theatre's early days were devoted to entertaining troops stationed there during and after the war. USO performances by Bob Hope and others gave way to use as a movie house as the base was decommissioned in 1989. In recent years, the aging theater fell into disuse and disrepair. Hornberger + Worstell was selected to breathe new life into the building, rehabilitating and expanding it to reopen in 2019 as a new hub for community theater and performance arts.
